1. What services do you offer?
I offer therapy for adults, children and young people (CYP), and couples. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and may focus on emotional wellbeing, relationships, life challenges, or personal growth.
2. Who do you work with?
I work with adults, children, young people, and couples from a variety of backgrounds, supporting a wide range of emotional and psychological needs.
3. What issues can therapy help with?
Therapy can support with anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, behavioural challenges, and more.
4. How long is each session?
Individual sessions last 50 minutes. Couples sessions may be slightly longer depending on need.
5. How many sessions will be needed?
This varies depending on your goals and circumstances. Some people attend short-term therapy, while others prefer longer-term support, this can be discussed at the first session and the option to extend is always there
6. Is therapy confidential?
Yes, therapy is confidential. What you share will not be disclosed without your consent however there are some circumstances in which this may change this is only to make sure you are safe. If this happens it will be discussed with you first. Examples of the people that it would be shared with are . Your GP, The Police, my own supervisor.

7. Do you offer telephone, online or in-person sessions?
I offer telephone, in-person and online sessions, providing flexibility to suit your preferences.
8. How do I get started?
You can get in touch to arrange an initial consultation where we can discuss your needs and how I may be able to support you.
9. How does couples therapy work?
Couples therapy provides a safe space for both partners to explore their relationship, improve communication, and work through challenges together.
10. Do you take sides in couples therapy?
No, my role is to remain neutral and support both individuals equally, helping you understand each other and move forward constructively.
11. How do you work with children and young people?
I use age-appropriate approaches to help children and young people express themselves, which may include talking, creative activities, or play-based techniques.
12. How much information will parents receive about their child’s therapy?
Confidentiality is important in building trust. I will share general updates about progress and wellbeing, but I do not routinely share specific details of sessions unless the child or young person has given consent.
13. When would confidentiality be broken for a child or young person?
Confidentiality may be broken if there are concerns about the safety or wellbeing of the child or others. In such cases, appropriate steps will be taken to ensure support and protection.
14. What are 6-week reviews?
I offer regular reviews (typically every six weeks) to reflect on progress and ensure therapy is meeting the child or young person’s needs.
15. What information is shared during 6-week reviews?
Reviews include general themes, progress, and agreed goals. Specific details from sessions are only shared if the child or young person has agreed to this.
16. Can parents be involved in sessions?
Parents come in to the first session to settle the child and do the required paperwork but most sessions are one-to-one to allow the child or young person a safe space to talk freely.
